Fleeky Croomes
Debuting their first single in October of 2020 the Fleeky Croomes are a artist collective based out of Baden Austria and Toronto Ontario. The collective prides themselves on their Austro-Ukrainian Roots. Experimental and industrial techno is their selected genre of choice. “Technophysics” their first EP released in January 2021 featured three unique tracks;Jungle,Gravity and TechnoPhysics.
The Fleeky Croomes name comes from the English ‘Fleek’ definition of Well styled, and the Hungarian word‘Croome’ - talent of high intelligent. This was meant to be a form of braggadocio for the siblings who came up with the phrase.Kassanja Dowhaluk and her brother (Founders of the collective)spent the earlier years prior to their musical releases suiting a name to the collective to define their ambitions and aspirations.
In early 2021 the Fleeky Croomes began releasing metal toe plates or “Zehenplatte” for dress shoes. Distributing these themselves from their website; Fleeky-Croomes.com. The toe plates are one of few manufacturers still producing them to date.
Since their release of Technophysics the collective has released a series of EP’s to “ contribute to the genre that has given so much to them”
The collective had their first music releases thanks to a small indie techno label the Seed Underground.Bill Kramer and Josh Holiday (label owners) gave the collective a first shot at publishing their records in 2021 after hearing Technophysics the first time, to which they reacted positively. They have since released on Beatport,Spotify and Apple.
The collective states:” The Fleeky Croomes are a collective of artists and designers hailing from four points of the globe.(UA,CA,UK,AT) Creating unique sounds and ideas to influence the techno genre, they're producing undefined strains of techno to give back to the genre that has given so much to them. Their industrial sound is at the heart of what they put forth. If its regarding fashion design or techno, this collective has you covered.
Let this be an outlet for you to discover the transcendence of their sound, the life blood of what runs through their veins, and their never ending reminder to create more than you consume.”
