Bulldog07[edit]
Bulldog07 is the username I, chose on Saturday, March 3rd, 2007. Bulldog was chosen because it represents my nickname, and the numbers 0 and 7 were chosen due to the current year (2007). Using this username and account, I hope to begin an interesting and productive period of contribution to the Wikipedia Free Encyclopedia.
A few of my intentions as a contributing member on this vast website :
- Browse topics and pages that pertain to my specific interests while looking for spelling and grammatical errors.
- Stay aware of Wikipedia's rules and guidelines for editing and creating articles.
- Gain knowledge regarding the inner workings of a website and database like Wikipedia.
- While attempting to positively assist in the cleaning and maintenance of certain articles and pages, I will still attempt to not be wasteful or heedless in my actions.
- Most of all, I'm here to have fun and learn new things. I love knowledge and am inherently drawn to trying new things.
Projects[edit]
Last night I had the distinct pleasure of being able to be the very first user to update the UFC 68 article with the main card's winners. I watched the event on Pay Per View and updated the winners by using bold text to indicate a winner. Understanding that the page would later by updated in a more appropriate way, and not having the slightest clue how, I still did the best I could to keep UFC fans updated on the results.
Another one of the main things I'm working on is trying to learn about Fair Use policies. I'm having a hard time understanding what's legitimate and what's not regarding images, files, and articles.
My main interests are :
- Sciences (Recommend : Physics)
- History (Recommend : Middle Ages)
- Music (Recommend : Post Grunge)
- Miscellaneous Knowledge (Recommend : Lighter)
- Movies and Entertainment (Recommend : Kevin Smith)
- Etc, etc, etc (Recommend : Latin Phrases)
I will do my best to contribute in the above areas.
