My name is Christine Gorman and I am a senior editor at Scientific American. Prior to that I served as the technical writer for the 2010 Future of Nursing report by the Institute of Medicine, was a 2008 Nieman Fellow for Reporting on Global Health (Harvard University) and a senior writer for TIME Magazine, where I covered health and medicine for many years.
