Wouldn't it be wrong if we're all the same?
A little bit about myself
[edit]Hello! Welcome to my user page.
I don't consider myself an experienced editor, and I might make some mistakes. Feel free to correct or notify me whenever I've done something wrong, and I'll try to fix the problem as soon as possible—unless it's already been fixed. (By "as soon as possible," I mean whenever I have free time outside of school and real life, which might not be very often.)
I don't think I really specialize in any specific area of Wikipedia. Sometimes I just perform basic copyediting (spelling, grammar, etc.). Sometimes I fix other things when they seem a little off. Sometimes I just look around and read random things. (After all, it would be sort of pointless to have an encyclopedia if nobody's ever going to read it.)
I'm also not very good at making jokes.
Alternative account
[edit]I currently operate one alternative account: User:BrassicaSolanum. It will be used mainly when logging in using public terminals or my mobile phone.
- I confirm that the above statement is true. BrassicaSolanum (talk) 04:17, 28 July 2015 (UTC) (diff of confirmation)
Other things to note
[edit]- I only use the handle "CabbagePotato" on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects (see Special:CentralAuth/CabbagePotato for this username's global account information). If you come across users on other websites using the same handle, keep in mind that those users are not me.
- In addition, I only use the handle "BrassicaSolanum" (my alternative account) on the English Wikipedia, although it does have a global account due to SUL (single user login) finalization.
- Despite what X!'s edit counter may say, I have never used Twinkle or AutoWikiBrowser on this wiki (I guess I edit like a bot sometimes). But then again, it does say that values are approximate for those kinds of edits.
About my username
[edit]The name "CabbagePotato" has no special meaning or significance; I just thought it wouldn't offend anyone or violate Wikipedia's username policy. Although potatoes are quite interesting.

Things given to me by other Wikipedians
[edit]Here are some nice things that people have given me, which I've copied and pasted from my talk page.
Great Question Badge | |
Awarded to those who have asked a great question on the Teahouse Question Forum. There are no stupid questions, but some are excellent! Good questions are those that reflect serious curiosity about editing and help others learn.

Great Answer Badge | |
Awarded to those who have given a great answer on the Teahouse Question Forum. A good answer is one that fits in with the Teahouse expectations of proper conduct: polite, patient, simple, relies on explanations not links, and leaves a talkback notification.
Hello! You gave me a top notch answer at the Teahouse. It answered everything really well! Thank you very much. DangerousJXD (talk) 08:49, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

Randomness
[edit]-
Anyone can edit Wikipedia. Even cabbages.
-
Everyone has something different to contribute to Wikipedia, just like these potatoes do if Wikipedia were a, uh... a potato salad, perhaps?

A feline Wikipedian hiding from evil reptilian kitten-eaters from another planet.
