Francesca Skipp (Born Frances Mary Dupree; 26 November 1920 - 24 July 2021)[1] was a British counsellor and educator who is known for her contributions to the field of counselling in the United Kingdom.

Francesca Skipp was born in St Leonards-on-Sea, November 26th 1920 to a Malaysian father and English mother. She was raised by her mother who ran a Guest House and has never met her father who did not have interest in taking her back to Malaysia with him due to her being female.[1] Due to financial issues within the household she was not able to complete school, leaving at the age of 15 to work as a secretary in London during the Second World War.[2]
