Welcome to my user page. Obviously, I am not this great man, for whom I have chosen my user name.

I have been editing on wikipedia for several months without an account and I finally decided to create an account, partly because of recent policy changes.

I am still new and learning how to use many of the tools and policies around here, so please be somewhat patient with me if I make mistakes or step out of line in some way.

I have a great assortment of interests, and I hold degrees in History and Religious Studies. I have already edited a variety of articles on subjects including architecture, general religious topics and ecclesiastical history, French revolutionary and Napoleonic history, Latin American history, poker and other card and gambling games, geography, universities, corporate histories, entymology, travel and other assorted topics. I am also interested in political history, strategic wargames, and historical fiction.
