Camille Styles (b. May 29, 1984) is an event planner, lifestyle personality and founder and creative director of Camillestyles.com. She runs the Austin event planning company, Camille Styles Events, and is the face of the ‘Camille Styles Parties’ instructional party planning web series on HGTV.com.
Early Life
[edit]Camille Styles was born in Fort Worth, Texas to parents Chris and Ray Styles. At age 10, her family moved to Columbia, Missouri where Styles attended school through college. In 2006, Styles graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Missouri’s School of Journalism.
Career
[edit]After an internship at Harrison & Shriftman in New York City, Styles began her event planning career at Word of Mouth Catering in Austin, TX in 2006, and after 2 years took her talents to Springbox where she planned in-house events and corporate entertaining. In 2009, Styles started her own event planning company, Camille Styles Events. In 2010, Styles started the blog, Style Notes with a focus on home entertaining, interior design and fashion. Though the blog was meant to promote and market her event planning company, it quickly grew in popularity, and Style Notes soon became the primary focus of Styles' business. In January, 2011, the blog underwent a redesign and was renamed, "Camille Styles."
In 2011, Styles was featured in the Los Angeles Times, HGTV.com, MarthaStewart.com and Style Me Pretty.
