Arthur Leslie Plimpton (1855 - 1939) was an American engineer with the West End Street Railway Co. and later the head engineer for the Boston Electric Car Company in the city of Boston, MA. He laid out the original lines of 273 miles of track. He was also the owner of the "Plimpton Meadows", site of the first cranberry bog in Foxboro, MA on the land that now forms part of Patriot Place.
