I am 69 years old I have been involved in technology since the early 70's. I began my technology career programming in RPG II on an IBM System 6 Model 10. The computer had been expanded to 32k and still demanded very tight code. I have been in a technical whirlwind of learning, experience and design from my first program to my last job as Director of Technology (CIO) of a multi-billion dollar enterprise, which ended in 1998 when I suffered a closed head injury. I have been involved with the Internet since the days of NSFNET in the mid-1980's and was an early subscriber to The Source (service) and CompuServe which were the first information and ISP services on the Internet. This (in 2006) is my first attempt at anything remotely technical since my accident, your assistance, correction, and comments are readily accepted. Often the variety and frequency of formats seen on this page are experimental and created to test aesthetics."
