William dreamed of being a professional football player.
William attended Howard T. Herber Middle School in Malverne, NY. In middle school, he continued to play football, basketball, baseball, and run track, but he only did enough to get by academically. William fought a lot, both in school and out of school.

William's mother was always on top of him and his brother when it came to school, and his mother was a firm believer in corporal punishment. Bad behavior and slacking off in school was not allowed.

In 2003, he graduated junior high school and began at Malverne Senior High School. In high school, he prepared to attend college while playing football, running track, and lifting weights. Then, he applied to York College and was accepted. He wanted to continue to major in criminal justice, but the college didn’t offer it, so he chose political science. After a year off work to focus on school, he got a new job at Home Depot and worked throughout his last year of undergraduate studies while running track. William did his first comedy show at York College while participating in a college competition. William had always been told he was funny, so he put together a comedy routine and gave it a shot. William performed in front of a crowd of 500 people and it was a success. William went on to graduate York College in 2011 with a bachelor of arts in political science.
