Olorisaoko

Olorisaoko is a originated from Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria, with historical roots tracing back to the migration of Oluyemi and Tolawo, who arrived as hunters. Oluyemi was the first to settle, followed by Tolawo, who arrived later and established residence in Molarere, a village nearby. During their hunting expeditions, they encountered Falade at the Idi-Odan tree. Subsequently, they migrated to the other side, now known as Akuro, to establish their settlement.

Among the founding figures of this community were Alagba, Onidundun, Adifa, Adeyemi Ogunyemi, among others. Presently, Olorisa Oke comprises over 44 villages, each contributing to the rich tapestry of the community's heritage.

Ogun Ijaye, alongside Oluyemi and Tolawo, played a pivotal role in the early history of the region. Ijaye was a prominent city until conflict arose, leading to the ascendancy of Ibadan as the dominant city in the area.

Noteworthy villages under the jurisdiction of Olorisa-oko include Adamaro, Onikoko, Ojedeji, Onireke, Ogunyemi, Sunle, Balogun, Aba-opa, Tubi, Adetola, Posigbola, Babasango, Agbeka, Akingbala, Alagbe, Aba-aladie, Amosun, Olosun, Aba onikeke, Akingbile, Onidundun, Abijawuni, Aregbe, Ajoyinbon, and Tuyere.'Bold text'
