Work experience
[edit]I have worked with map collections in the National Library of Scotland since 1994. I have a particular interest in early maps of Scotland, and co-authored the book Scotland: Mapping the Nation in 2011. I have spent twenty years scanning and making available historic maps of Scotland on the NLS Map Images website. This includes over 50,000 online maps, with accompanying notes and texts about Scottish map-making and cartography.
