Christine Roseeta Walker is the author of Coco Island, a debut collection of narrative poems set in Negril, Jamaica.[1] Walker is a new and exciting poet and novelist whose vividly crafted work brings Jamaica's culture and atmosphere to its readers through a evocative and powerful portrayal of its landscapes, people, schoolground games,[2] folklore, and the supernatural. Coco Island is a collection that haunts its readers and lingers in the subconscious long after the poems are read.
