The article was moved to the proposed title to coincide with the name used in the first sentence of the lead (which has since been changed here). The proposal is now made per WP:COMMONNAME. An ngram search provides no results for either title. A JSTOR search for "battle of" and "battle for" both return no hits. A Google Scholar search for "battle for" returns two hits (with mixed case) and "battle of" returns 4 hits but only 2 actual uses (both capped) but this and this are pages of the same overall source and are not consistent in which form they use (both though were capped), Google Books search results are: "battle for" has 3 clear hits (all lc) and "battle of" has two hits (with mixed case). The source cited in the article does not name the battle.}} -->
