Patrick William Adam RSA (1852/4-1929) was a Scottish artist. His paintings are in the collections of the National Galleries of Scotland[1], the Royal Scottish Academy, Bradford Art Galleries and Museums, Leeds Art Gallery, and the University of Edinburgh.[2]

His date of birth is variously given as 1852 or 1854. His parents were Patrick Adam, a writer, and Louisa Roberts.

He studied at the Royal Scottish Academy and was taught by William McTaggart and George Paul Chalmers.

He was a founder member of the Society of Eight, a group of artists that included FCB Cadell and Samuel Peploe.

He died in North Berwick, and is buried there.
