Hi there. My name is Colleen Karoliszyn and I am a second year masters student at the Harvard School of Public Health. I specialize in health communication, and am interested in the ways in which methods of knowledge sharing determine who has access to what information, which influences health outcomes, and often ultimately results in health disparities that track gradients in socioeconomic status, race and ethnicity, and a multiplicity of other demographic factors. I'm engaging with Wikipedia in an effort to better understand how open source knowledge sharing follows or bucks this trend.
