I'm a Software Engineer with passion open source, open data with data management, especially the ones human oriented (AKA human readable formats, like XML).

History of The World[edit]

The title is ambitious, and maybe it will be never achieved, but the project is simple to explain:

Data collection to facilitate historic data visualization

The world is changing and the way we think is deeply different from what we, commoners, thought decades ago.

During my reading I noticed that I don't have a clear view of what happened historically around the world at a given time (era, century) or during a given event. I also considered this unacceptable and in the hope to help nowadays students to have a better grasp at a what I like to think being a 4-dimensional history, I decided to start a project which collects data about events, collate them for possible visualisation.
