Marienbad My Love (condensed title) is a novel by Mark Leach, published in 2008.[1] The book purportedly breaks several records including the longest single volume novel.[2]

Story[edit]

Marienbad My Love is a story of a Christ-haunted filmmaker who believes he is called on by God to bring about the end of the world by producing a science fiction-themed pastiche of the 1961 French New Wave classic, “Last Year at Marienbad.”

Marienbad My Love was started approximatly in 1988 by Mark Leach when he and his wife moved to Coppell, Texas. The city of Strangers Rest is based on Coppell as it was in 1988.

Marienbad My Love has a word count of approximately 2.5 million words making it the longest single volume book. The books full title contains approximatly 6,700 words, for ease the writer has condenced title when refering to the book to Marienbad My Love. The longest sentance is also purportadly contained in the book with about 510,000 words.
