Personal Information

[edit]

Hi, I'm Mike. I'm a writer, photographer, former clinical counselor and, following that, former adult reference public librarian

A long-time convinced Friend (Quaker), member of Worcester (MA) Friends Meeting. Before my husband and I moved to Massachusetts in 2021, I was clerk of Jacksonville (FL) Friends Meeting and a member of Quaker Universalist Fellowship's steering committee, from which I retired when we moved north.

The existing article is Quaker Universalist Fellowship. It has two editorial notes:

  • "This article is an orphan, as few or no other articles link to it. Please introduce links to this page from related articles; suggestions may be available. (October 2009)"
  • "This article about a Christian organization is a stub. You can help Wikipedia by expanding it."

The article has inaccuracies and offers little useful information about QUF. However, I have learned that our edits were rejected because of the Conflict of Interest rule, which disallows members of an organization from editing articles about their own organization (see discussion at User talk:Crippled Wolf).

I have left messages aon the article talk page Talk:Quaker Universalist Fellowship and at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) asking for collaborative help to edit this article.
