Delint Wikipedia[edit]

We've all been stressed out while editing Wikipedia before, especially when an addition that took hours of work and thinking gets disputed or modified in a way we don't think makes sense. However, despite this stress, editing Wikipedia can often also be relaxing, allowing oneself to feel like a part of the community. For that reason, I recommend taking up delinting as a low-stress addition to everyone's editing toolkit. Wikipedia is large[citation needed], and there's lots of minor code errors in the pages. Wikipedia has a pretty significant lint problem, but with how many editors there are, even if everyone only delinted a couple articles, the backlog would shrink rather quickly. Even if you don't want to go seeking out lint errors in your free time, I recommend that if you stumble across a page that needs delinting in your journeys through the pages, to spend a little time smoothing out the lint.
