Hi, I'm d9xv, a Wikipedian looking to expand my knowledge with Wikpedia.
Interests
[edit]Every academic topic interests me in some way or another. I mainly use Wikiepdia for things like politics and history. Although, I will sometimes use it for religious studies, philosopher and other things.

My English is at a professional level. I can perfectly understand anything and can write at the same level. However, speaking is my weak spot across all the languages I speak. I can write in British and American English but will primarily use the British dialect, excluding Oxford spelling.
My Spanish is also professional, but my vocabulary is not as diverse as my English. I can understand everything, but my reading is a little slower. If I practised more, my Spanish would probably be at the same level as my English.
I started learning French on 18 August 2024. I can understand elementary sentences if I know the vocabulary, but I cannot do much with it. I'll start editing/translating French Wikipedia articles once my French is up to par.
Why Wikipedia?
[edit]I use Wikipedia because of its wealth of sources and structure provided for topics. Wikipedia will give a comprehensive outline of any topic, and it will provide sources for readers to dive in deeper (like textbooks or articles). I also enjoy sharing knowledge for my fellow Wikipedians.
