The SITEFORUM Group is a medium-sized software company, headquartered in Germany with regional offices and partners in the UK, USA, Canada and Asia. SITEFORUM Social Business Suite software is offered as "Software-as-a- Service".
This software includes a number of enterprise 2.0 functionalities including social networking, virtual event, content management, online marketing and collaboration tools which are its key functions. The platform is completely web-based so can be accessed by any machine with a web browser.
Companies that have used SITEFORUM for social applications delivered as a service include McDonald's [1], Informa, HR.com [2], Arriva, VBL, VNR and Microsoft. The company delivers the software in a "software as a service" model, which includes hosting, uptime guarantee, storage, traffic, updates, etc.

The SITEFORUM Group was founded in 1998 and has since developed web applications and services for large and middle-sized companies. The company is headquartered in Erfurt (Thuringia) with regional office in the UK (Henley-on-Thames) and partners in USA, Canada and Asia. In the year 2009 SITEFORUM was the only German company which was included in the "Gartner Magic Quadrant" for Social Software in the Workplace.[3]
