Prishtina Jazz Festival

This festival is known as the most cultural and artistically event in Kosova. It also brings a lot important and significant artists from all around the world to flow our jazz scene. It is held every year in October/ November, in the ODA theatre (Behind Pallati i Rinisë comlex), at 20:00. Some artists that was the part of this festivals are : Uri Caine, Tom Kennedy, Reggie Washington, Giulio Martino, Willard Dyson, Bob Albanese, including a few artists from Kosova such as Besim Gashi, Faruk Musliu, and Visar Kuqi.

Freedom Festival

Freedom Festival was a music festival in Prishtina, which one was held to commemorate Kosovo’s liberation by NATO troops back in 1999. We have seen a lot of famous artists in this festival’s stage even if until now, this festival had only two editions. In the first year of it (2008), Method Man and RedMan, Gus Gus, Banco de Gaia and a lot others headlined the festival. In 2009 headlining acts were Chamillionaire, Stereo MC’s, Roni Size etc. This two-day event, that was organized from Radio Urban FM, usually held on 12th and 13th of June.
