I was born in Poland, lived in the UK for 2 years, Greece over 10 years and now in the USA for over 20 years. I have a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching, worked in publishing for over 25 years: UK, Greece, Cyprus and Eastern Europe. I'm trilingual and love reading in English, Polish and Greek.

I’m interested in English and American literature, classic and contemporary of various genres but also try to discover translations of new authors from various countries around the world.

I read all Polish authors in original, in my native language, but then often in English translation. I like to popularize Polish literature among my English-only speaking friends so I want to check it out before recommending a book.
