My Research Topic is: What is spirituality?

"This article needs additional citations for verification". It matters because the article need accurate information about the topic.

+3. Is the lead section of the article easy to understand? Does it summarize the key points of the article?

The lead section is easy to understand and does summarize key point of the article.

+4. Is the structure of the article clear? “Are there several headings and subheadings, images and diagrams at appropriate places, and appendices and footnotes at the end?”

The structure of the article is clear where it first give the definition of spirituality and how it was developed. It also has what spirituality means in each religion. The article has picture, footnotes, and references to other topic relating to spirituality.

+5. Are “the various aspects of the topic balanced well”? That is does it seem to provide a comprehensive overview of the topic?

It does a comprehensive overview of the topic because it has modern spirituality and traditional spirituality that then lead to other religion spirituality like Judaism and Christianity.

+6. Does the article provide a “neutral point of view”? Does it read like an encyclopedia article instead of a persuasive essay?

The article has a neutral point of view because it includes Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and many more religions

The references and footnotes are reliable sources because they lead to other scholarly articles. The information also seems trustworthy.

+a. is the lead section well-written, in clear, correct English?

The lead section is well written with high vocabulary that the general public can understand.

+b. are there “unsourced opinions” and/or “value statements which are not neutral”?

No there is not because the article was based off facts and other resources. There was no opinion based in this article.

+c. does the article refer “to ‘some,’ ‘many,’ or other unnamed groups of people,” instead of specific organizations or authors or facts?

No it does not it. The article includes so many religion and even science facts based off religion. It has a diverse information of spirituality.

+d. does the article seem to omit aspects of the topic?

No it does not. The article goes really in to depth for each heading that is in the article so one goods a good amount of information.

+e. are some sections overly long compared to other sections of similar importance to the topic?

The information for each section of the article and heads are equally long as the others.

+f. does the article lack sufficient references or footnotes?

The article has a great amount of references and footnotes. You can basically find them everywhere through out the article.

-g. Look at the “View History” for the article. As you read the conversation there, do you see hostile dialogue or other evidence of lack of respectful treatment among the editors?

It was last updated on October 16 2017 which was a minor edit.

The author of the article have their PhD and also their Masters in spirituality. I think this is a good article, but I don't know how you know that the author has those degrees. Please let me know. I'm interested in understanding that better.

+Relevance (to your research topic)

The article relates a lot to me topic because it gives a definition of my topic, how it was developed, and it's history.

+Depth

The length of the article is very long with plenty information of spirituality like its practices.

-Information Format (I hope this one will be easy for you.)

It is a scholarly journal article but it still friendly to the general public. Notice that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia article for the general public, so it is not scholarly.

+Object (what is the purpose for creating this article?)

The purpose of this article is to inform readers about spirituality, how it relates to many different religion, and the science behind it.
