Some food for thought[edit]
- Coursework with wiki component (e.g. IMPRS)
- Review of MPI-ICE-related articles and materials by MPI-ICE scientists
- Routine upload of non-publishable items of encyclopedic value to Wikimedia Commons
- Provide data (and images/ videos) on villages around field sites (e.g. in Utah), so that the wiki entries related to them can include that information
- Provide photos and short biographies of MPI-ICE scientists
- Publish in reusably licensed journals
- If that is not possible, upload at least some of the non-published items (example)
- Wiki workshops
- Edit-a-thons
- Hackdays
- Backstage pass
- Release MPI-ICE media - and multimedia in particular - under an open license
- Library training (e.g. work with sources)
- Open Access Week
- QRpedia codes in public places
- Wikimedian in Residence program
- Wikimedia day, or recognition of Wikimedia work on MPI-ICE-related information as adequate use of MPI-ICE staff time
