In a career spanning more than 10 years, Dan Ope specialises in producing movies that promote Theatre (culture & heritage) and Christian Values and have a root in documentation, archiving, education, entertainment & promotion of the evangelism. Daniel Makinde,DanLight was born in Lagos into a Christian Filmmaker Home. His father is a President Of a Christian Drama and Film Ministry,Bread Of Life Faith Ministry and he was privileged to have witnessed most aspects of the Filming ways of life, the Filming religion, Filming literature, Movie philosophy, Film and Movie environments and Entertainment world studios,Mec Digital Studios at close quarters. He was introduced to literature from an early stage in his life and was also greatly influenced by theatre as his father taught people and practiced journalism. When he was in secondary school, he had the privilege to see most of the great Christian drama & theatre stage performances including the Taniwere, Ina ajonirun, Arugbo Ojo,fliks of Ogunde plays & more.He got interested in drawing & photography from primary school.Throughout his secondary school education, he was actively and practically investing and taking to time to learn photography and postproductions.So, inevitably, he became an apprentice videographer and non-linear editor after he finished secondary school. Later, he trained under Engr Segun Ojetade,a profound and experienced Filmmaker in Lagos and learnt 3d animation from Bolaji Aromire,Yotomi Tv.In 2004, Daniel was an assistant D.O.P and an actor in a Nigerian Christian Drama Film and was a D.O.P in feature film,Majemu Aimo in 2010 and since then filmed many movies and Tv Projects. A Nigerian Movie Editor, producer, director, screenwriter, playwright, author, and songwriter, specializing in the gospel genre. Daniel writes and produces many stage plays.Daniel is known for both creating and performing as a DANIEL that he is.Daniel also creates films, some produced as live recordings of stage plays, and others professionally filmed using full sets and locations with full editing.Many of Daniel's stage-play have been subsequently adapted as professional films.Daniel has also filmed several television shows.Daniel is presently the visionary of Prudence Films And Sounds Academy an online free film school and is the Media Content Manager and Video Editor of Mec Digital Studios,Lagos.Daniel Makinde O. is today a Great Videographer and video Director.He’s plain and strict at work.
