Critical assessment

[edit]
  • Susana Pérez, by herself, is everything. (Francisnet Díaz Rondón)
  • There is no artistic project in which the very popular Susana Pérez is involved, that she does not assume with passion and that, otherwise, becomes news (José Luis Estrada Betancourt)
  • Susana Pérez has been able to transmit the tragic and comic of Aurelia, that character whom Giraudoux endowed with a saving madness. Because it is not only about her proven quality, but also that angel, or particular charisma, and that she donates to her creatures in any medium. She always performs remarkably. (Mireya Castañeda)
  • The ability to suggest and impregnate sexual insinuations with lubricity is well reflected through the juiciness and texture of the fruits of our tropics; in the scene after the banquet, neither Susana Pérez nor Fernando Hechavarría need words to enunciate the impulse of libido and the pleasure they feel, the way Fernando delights the fruit bomb says it all. The relationship of understanding between eroticism and Sotto nature justifies it in these words. (Lisandra Leyva Ramírez)
  • Susana Pérez, once again demonstrates the depth of her histrionic records and fits, with authenticity and prestance, an Aurelia that will make memorable the encounter with a classic taken by Carucha Camejo to the scene of the National Guiñol of Cuba four decades ago. (Miguel Gerardo Valdés Pérez)
  • Our Susana Pérez, after decades as a young TV lady, has worked well on the big screen and, above all, has linked a formidable theatrical career. (Amado del Pino)
  • Susana Pérez does not disappoint those who recognize her as a versatile and professional actress, even though here she does not make too much effort, because the case does not demand it. However, she "is" a Camila and her acting concentration stands out greatly (Pepe Murrieta)
  • But the great main attraction turns out to be Susana Pérez, she embroiders her work in the nuances of her voice, in the delicacy of her gestures and that knowing how to be always throbbing on stage, with her impressive presence. It specifies in transitions, intense in silences, moving in apprehension and tearing. (Gerardo Fulleda León)[11]
