Sheaf Valley Aquarist Society (SVAS) is a fishkeeping club based in South Yorkshire, England.

The club was originally founded in 19?? and was affiliated to the Yorkshire Association of Aquarist Societies (YAAS) until 19?? when membership dwindled and sadly the club finally folded.

The club was relaunched in 2006 following a response to an advert placed in a local newspaper by a member of the original club. A small website with a forum was setup which led to the first official meeting of the reformed club on 18th February 2006.

SVAS now (2010) holds four public events per year, two evening auctions and two fish shows (including an auction). The shows are judged to YAAS standards, to whom the club are once again affillated.
