Cowra railway station is located on the Blayney–Demondrille railway line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the town of Cowra with a small locomotive depot and the branch line to Eugowra.

History[edit]

The rail line from Blayney extended south and was opened to the Cowra station on 1 November 1886.[1] After a bridge was completed over the Lachlan River the extension of the line was completed joinging the line already built from Demondrille.

Services[edit]

early passenger

Line to Eugowra for locals but seasonal wheat transport.

The locomotive depot was developed in line with the construction of the branch line to Eugowra and was little used after the branch line's closure. It was utilised by the LVR until State Rail decided to close the main D-B line.
