Liverpool Weir is an earthen bank feature built on the Georges River in 1836 to supply water to Liverpool.

Voyager Point) over the George's River using stone quarried locally from the same quarry used to supply a large reserve of fresh water for the new growing community of the Liverpool district Water supply Upper Nepean Scheme, water was supplied from water from Liverpool Offtake reservoir Still supplied by canal both ways ?
