The Heart Classic Match is an event carried out by the Real Madrid Foundation consisting of the dispute of a charitable and friendly football match between the section of Veterans of Real Madrid CF and another team of veterans of one of the great football entities worldwide. This year there would be two matches taking place between Real Madrid Legends and Arsenal Legends.[1] The first on 3 June at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and the second on 8 September at the Emirates Stadium. The match in Spain will be played in aid of Real Madrid’s Foundation, with the return match in aid of The Arsenal Foundation.[2]

Report of Match 1[edit]

On 4 Minutes Sol Campbell went off with a hamstring injury. On 5 Minutes Raúl scored with a header from outside the box. On 18 Minutes Luis Boa Morte scored with a curling shot inside the 6 yard box to the 'keepers near post. On 20 Minutes Guti scored after a great passing move from the home side. On 30 Minutes Matthew Upson went off with a hamstring injury. On 35 Minutes Emanuel Petit went off. There were multiple changes at half time for both sides. There were more multiple changes on 61 minutes for the home side. On 78 Minutes Raúl was taken off to a great reception and sub Emilio Butragueño received the same recognition. On 81 Minutes Luis Boa Morte complained about being called for offside. On 85 Minutes Robert Pires had a free-kick blocked on the line by Santiago Solari.
