Astrantia ossica, is a species of flowering plant in the family Apiaceae. It has long reddish (or white) flowers.

Taxonomy[edit]

The specific epithet ossica, referring to

Achillea ossica Napaeopsis ossica

A. ossica was originally described and published by Woronow based on an early description by Alexander Alfonsovich Grossheim in Trudy Bot. Sada Imp. Yur'evsk. Univ. ('Trudy Botanicheskago Sada Imperatorskago Yur'evskago Universiteta') Vol.6 on page 70 in 1905.[1][3]

It has not yet been verified by United States Department of Agriculture and the Agricultural Research Service as of 22 May 2021.[4]
