Rory (Alexis Bledel) is accepted into an elite prep school, which leaves her mother to deal with the large fee associated with her attendance. Lorelai (Lauren Graham) is forced to ask her wealthy parents for the money, who accept on one condition: every Friday night, they come over for dinner. The original pilot for "The Gilmore Girls" was filmed in March and April of 2000[1] in Unionville, Ontario, Canada and made use of a local crew.[2] The characters Dean Forrester and Sookie St. James were played by Nathan Wetherington and Alex Borstein respectively.[3] | ||||||
