American Society of Plant Biology (ASPB) is an organization that provides resourceful information about plant science (specializing in plant biology). The organization was established in 1924, to teach about plants. The group was otherwise the American Society of Plant Physiology before redistributing itself as the American Society of Plant Biology in 2001.[1]

[edit]Plant Physiology is a notably cited journal in plant science, published by the ASPB in 1926. The journal is published on a monthly basis [2]
The Plant Cell is a monthly academic journal published by ASPB, that studies and looks at new information about plant biology. The journal is peer-reviewed by a board of scholarly plant scientists [3].
Plant Direct is an open-source journal that publishes an array of articles and topics about plant sciences. The American Society of Plant Biologists partnered with Wiley Online Library and the Society for Experimental Biology to develop the articles. [4]
