I am new to Wikipedia and happened upon the page when I saw that there was information on my mother "Byrdie Green". I was pleased when I found her on the web and truly grateful to the fans she never had a chance to know were out there on her behalf. My mother had a long career, but in the shadow of other late, great artists.

To update those interested, Byrdie passed on February 26, 2008, and was eulogized on Saturday, May 3, 2008.
