Mit Borrás (*1982 in Granada) is a Spanish artist. (Conceptual art, installation art).

Life and Carreer[edit]

Studied fine arts at the Complutense University of Madrid between 2001 and 2005 and completed his studies in Enschede (Netherlands) between 2006 and 2007, at the University of Twente. There he specialized in media art with professors Peter Baan Müller [1] and Paul Jansen Klomp. During this period he participates actively in the Dutch alternative scene. Borrás moved in 2008 to Madrid (Spain) where his work is linked to the scene of contemporary art in Madrid. He directs the production of an international festival of contemporary art (Optica festival [2]) and work as curator in various initiatives. He moved to Berlin Germany in 2010 at the Glogauair residence [3] and subsequently open with the artist Raquel Jiménez [4] the project space and gallery Fünf Galerie, directed between 2010 and 2012. Borrás combines his work as independent curator and has done lectures in England, Spain [5] and Germany. His work has been selected and awarded at international festivals (Transmediale [6] , United Creators Awards). He currently lives and works in Berlin.
