At first the mature ovum comes to the first part of the oviduct, that is called INFUNDIBULUM. Here the Fertilization procedure occurs, the sperms enters into the egg. The entrance of more than one sperm into the egg is known as POLYSPRMIC condition. Then the nucleus of the one sperm get fused with the nucleus of the ovum and thus produce a fertilized egg. That is not necessary to lay an egg by the hen by the help of the rooster. If the mating is take place when the mature ovum is present in the oviduct then produced egg must be fertilized. Otherwise it is not necessary that all the eggs should be in fertilized condition.
