Prof. Dilip Barad At present, he is teaching English Literature and Language to the Post Graduate students of the M.K. Bhavnagar University. He has 20 years experience of teaching (since July 1996) to students belonging to various faculties like commerce, management, computers, humanities and social sciences. His areas of interest are CALL, innovative use of ICT in teaching English, Literature(s) and Literary Theories. He has conducted workshops on use of Web tools for teaching in national and international conferences. He has penned books and articles on Thomas Hardy, Kamala Das, Modern Communication and Web tools for English teaching. Recently, he has completed an eContent Development Project funded by Ministry of HRD (Govt. of India). The Short Video Lectures developed under this project are uploaded on YouTube. He has completed UGC research project on ‘Technology and Teaching English Language and Literature - Blended Learning’. He has successfully completed online course (Web Skills for Teachers) from University of Oregon, USA. He has completed several MOOCs on Coursera on topics like: Technology and Ethics - The Ohio State University Understanding Research Methods - University of London Greek and Roman Mythology - University of Pennsylvania Assessment and Teaching of 21st Century Skills - University of Melbourne Shaping the Way We Teach English, 1 & 2: Paths to Success in ELT - University of Oregon He is recognized as Research Supervisor by M.K. Bhavnagar University, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU), and C.U. Shah University
