Homeboy Docta " Dimetry Chery "

Mr.Chery was born and raised in St.Maarten February 23 1994.

    Mr.Chery attended Ruby Labega Primary School as a young child where he then started writing. He wrote stories but mostly poems from the poems he slowly change to writing " Rap Verses " he also performed his first rap song for a school talent show with group of friends called "RLGz"
  From Ruby Labega he graduated to high school which was "St.Maarten Acedemy PSVE " he then started writing more rap verses and started downloading instrumentals and also learned to freestyle. From the writing and freestyling Mr.Chery called him self Doctor-J. Some people would call him Doctor for short. He called him self " Doctor-J " cuase he saw him self as the next Doctor Dre in the future.
  After high school he then met with big blacks and finally started recording. He spent alot of times in the studio. And later in the evening free styling home on his yard with his close friends. "The Lakou" Lakou means yard in creole. 
   His friends migrated over seas for collage and for work.he then starting hanging on the block and slowly but surely got influence by the block. His role models were the drug dealers in the neighborhood. He then started hustlin and selling drugs as well due to fact his family wasnt wealthy. Music became less important for him slowly and slowly,but everytime he got on a mic, record , stage, he was very entertaining and talented.. 
 He decided to create a group becuase to much people were gelling hin how talented ge was. He called it "1Connection Entertainment "and changed his name to "HomeBoy Docta" .
Docta recorded more tracks with big blacks and shot music videos and started to become recognized. 

HomeBoy Docta is recording more good music,shooting music videos and doing stage performances in St.Maarten.
