The Diner Alo Hijra Songho (DAHS) is a non-profit, non-communal, socio-economic non-governmental and non-political organization. The songho was established in December 2007 to primarily act as a pressure group for the Hijra community to lobby with the policy planners and decision-makers. As a non-governmental development organization, DAHS working for the welfare of the socially excluded people, the transgender Hijra community in Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh. This organization is mainly working alleviating the poverty of the targeted special community through improving their livelihoods and living conditions, mainly in the Rajshahi city areas.
