Notable Book: “A Theological and Philosophical Evaluation of the Doctrine of Original Sin”

Over the years many scholars have had difficulty with an orthodox view of original sin. The purpose of this dissertation is to explain and defend a traditional doctrine of original sin. In order to respond to these challenges, the work will present the historical background, exegetical issues, and answers to theological and philosophical objections. We will examine the works of the early church fathers, reformers, and modern day scholars on the subject of original sin. We will look at their philosophy and theology as they considered the questions that people have raised throughout the years over the doctrine of original sin, and we will examine the questions of responsibility, moral perfection, and other issues concerning this doctrine.
