Deepak Kumar ( pronunciation (help·info); commonly known as Deepak Kumar; born 7 November 1996).
Early life and background[edit]
Deepak Kumar was born in Rohtas, Bihar, and he identifies as being a Hindu Rajput. His paternal village Baradhi kalan is in the Dinara block of the Rohtas District of Bihar. Deepak's parents, moved from Bihar to New Delhi where his father Mithilesh Singh worked in Farmer. Deepak has a sister Soni Singh. Deepak is a fan of Dhoni, and his childhood idols Sachin Tendulkar, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh.
Deepak studied at Baldev High School, Rohtas, Bihar where he initially excelled in badminton and football and was selected at district and club level in these sports. Deepak was a goalkeeper for his football team and was sent to play cricket for a local cricket club by his football coach. Though he had not played cricket, Deepak impressed with his wicket-keeping skills and became the regular wicketkeeper. Based on his performance at club cricket. Deepak focused on cricket after his 10th standard. His colleagues remember him as a very honest.But he also had a mischievous side to his personality.
