Peacekeeper[edit]

Thanks! I appreciate it. I've added a picture of the single cover to the infobox, that always makes the article look a bit better. Other things that help are chart information (if you can find it) like on Isn't It Midnight, and a track listing of the single like on Family Man. You might get some ideas from looking at those articles and those for the other singles. If you need any help, just ask. Cheers! Bretonbanquet (talk) 22:05, 21 January 2013 (UTC)

Dreams[edit]

I'm pretty sure that if it's the same song (recorded by different artists), then they both go in the same article. I don't think we're allowed to split them. Cheers! Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:16, 25 May 2013 (UTC)

Hey, thanks for the barnstar!! Much appreciated :) Bretonbanquet (talk) 00:09, 26 May 2013 (UTC)

Chicago[edit]

Hello there. About your recent contribution to Chicago (band), I was wondering where you got your information. You edited up a bunch of lineup information, without any notes at all. No explanation, no sources. Why? Gotta really make discrete notes on changes to major articles like that, but I'm also honestly curious. I've been a serious contributor to all Chicago-related articles, but I'm still learning a lot from scratch, and I want to keep on top of things. I'm looking for people to collaborate with. Thanks. — Smuckola (Email) (Talk) 03:03, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Fleetwood Mac[edit]

The Maigne Event (talk) 20:16, 11 June 2013 (UTC)I know and you know that Nicks played the keyboards,I included it because she sometimes plays them for Fleetwood Mac and when she performs solo, so please include the keyboards.-The Maigne Event.

I've made an edit there, and I know Dobbyelf62 already knows this, so to The Maigne Event – all members of Fleetwood Mac played a large number of instruments at various times. The personnel section is supposed to be general, so we list the instruments they played a lot, rather than list every instrument that a member sometimes played. Otherwise some of them, e.g. Buckingham and Green, could have a dozen instruments listed. Anything any of them play when performing solo is not relevant to the Mac article. Also, if a member is listed as playing "keyboards", it makes no sense to add individual keyboard instruments like piano or synthesizer. Also, all members performed backing vocals (all of them), so no sense in listing that either. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 21:24, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

I added back percussion because it is included on several albums (Rumours, Tusk, Tango in the Night, and Say You Will) Dobbyelf62 (talk) 23:06, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Images[edit]

It can be a little bit confusing at first, but it's OK once you've done it a few times. One of the easier ways is first to get a copy of the image on your computer, then go to the toolbox at the side of every page, and click on "upload file". Then rather than use the main upload file, click on "old guided form" in the box on that page and follow the instructions. If you get stuck, I can help or do it for you if you want. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:17, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Quality[edit]

Yes, I reckon they're both start class at the moment, so I've sorted that on their talk pages. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 10:46, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

Fleetwood Mac 2[edit]

You're right, that guy doesn't look like he's going to go away. We can either try to talk him directly and get him to discuss his edits – if he doesn't talk and keeps reverting, he'll get blocked – or ask for semi-protection. Only thing with that is we're both involved in the slow edit war, and us asking admins to protect the article from the other guy doesn't look great. They'll say it's a content dispute and ask us to talk it over. I'll leave another message on the IP's talk page and see what happens. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:17, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

Mick Fleetwood[edit]

Yes, definitely. But an editor is working on it at the moment (when he gets time) and I think when he's finished he's going to get it reviewed to see if it could be a Good Article (GA). Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 23:20, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Sock puppets[edit]

Looks very likely, doesn't it? Probably that regular IP editor is the same person as well. I'll see if either of the two named accounts starts to argue or revert a lot – if so, I'll report them all. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 23:05, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

Deletion discussion invitation[edit]

Hey there! I've seen that u are a contributor to articles about Survivor contestants, so I thought maybe you'd be interested in participating in a deletion discussion about Russell Hantz. Love to get your input! Survivorfan1995 (talk) 01:08, 21 February 2014 (UTC)

Soliciting comment...[edit]

Hi! Would you care to review or comment/vote (support/oppose) at my FA nomination for the article Marquee Moon, an article about a rock music album? Information on reviewing an FA nomination's criteria is available at WP:FACR. If not, feel free to ignore this message. Cheers! Dan56 (talk) 21:59, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

Then Play On[edit]

Good spot – I can't find anything to say he played on the album either, so I've taken it out. It can always be readded with a source if one is found. Likewise Jeremy Spencer playing maracas; I know he played them live on that song, but the article's about the album, and since he was practially never around during recording, someone else probably played them. Sad Angel was a single, so an article can be created, no problem :) Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 16:57, 12 March 2015 (UTC)

I think Sad Angel looks fine, good job. I added a few categories and made a few minor edits, typos etc, but basically it's pretty sound :) If there's any other commentary on the song from band members or journalists, it can be added. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 14:18, 14 March 2015 (UTC)

Lindsey Buckingham[edit]

The chart details aren't accessible online although people like those on the forums of australian-charts.com refer to David Kent's Australian Chart Books for their data, as the Kent Music Report was the official music chart in Australia up until the late '80s, when it became ARIA. The reference is: {{cite book | title=[[Kent Music Report|Australian Chart Book 1970–1992]] | last=Kent | first=David | authorlink=David Kent (historian) | publisher=Australian Chart Book | location=St Ives, New South Wales | year=1993 | isbn=0-646-11917-6}} I don't have exact page numbers if that's necessary, sorry! Mac template[edit]

Yes, sounds like a good idea. I had noticed the extra articles and the ever-expanding template! Is "World Turning" notable enough? I'm not sure it was a single. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 13:57, 21 June 2015 (UTC)

Haha, you might like to see the conversation I had with him on his talk page. "Thoughts on a Grey Day", indeed. There's plenty of false info in there too. That has to go, and "Sunny Side of Heaven" as well. I told him I wouldn't delete anything, but if you were to PROD those two, there couldn't surely be any argument. Some of his articles are pretty much borderline WP:NSONGS pass/failure. "Tango in the Night" wasn't a proper single, but it apparently charted somewhere. "Temporary One", which made #99 in Germany... how much info is there ever going to be on these? Anyone would be justified in merging these to the relevant album article. "World Turning" could stand up as an article, providing there's enough info and sources. Just add anything you can find. It basically has to satisfy WP:GNG and constitute a decent-sized article. I think I managed that with "Dragonfly" but it's close. Bretonbanquet (talk) 17:26, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
Exactly, the Ledge is a fan site so not reliable in Wiki terms at all. I've been a member there for ten years or so, and I even met my ex-girlfriend on there, so I can guarantee it's not a reliable site for meeting new partners either ;) Yes, I'd like to write articles about plenty of Mac songs, but they have to contain enough info to make them viable. I can't see "Sunny Side" managing that, and some of the others, well, let's see if he adds anything to them. I rather thought from our conversation that he'd "finished" them, but we'll see. If nothing more happens to them, we can look at them later and decide if they can be expanded or not. As you say, "Murrow" proves that it can be done. I hope this guy doesn't write too many more though! Bretonbanquet (talk) 19:06, 21 June 2015 (UTC)
Good work on "Skies the Limit", though I wish Christine would have sorted the grammar out for the song title... I'm not sure about "I Know I'm Not Wrong" – I suspect Lindsey played everything, including the bass. But I can't swear to it. I see "Nothing Without You" has popped up – another non-starter in my opinion. Bretonbanquet (talk) 19:38, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for your work[edit]

The Article Rescue Barnstar
For your stellar work on expanding, sourcing, and overall improving Rattlesnake Shake from a short article that would've probably been otherwise redirected or deleted to one that could stand on its own merits. Keep up the good work! -- Patar knight - chat/contributions 17:44, 13 September 2015 (UTC)
