Solen Dogan [1976-current]

I was born in Gumushane, Turkey, in a town called Kelkit, where stands between Northern and Eastern Anatolia. I have completed Ciftlik Ilkokulu elementary school in Kelkit

I have moved to Istanbul when I was 8 yrs old and continue my studies with the Cavusoglu College in Bakirkoy.
I have graduated from Istanbul University Electronics Engineering on 1999.
I continued my postgraduate degree in Australia and completed Masters in information Technology from University of South Australia.
I have spent most of my life in my home Istanbul, and been living in Australia past 6 years.

My main interests are:

• writing
• poetry
• history

Some of my poems have been published with the local socities such as Kadikoy Poet's Society on 1999.
