Don Sainte-Johnn Consultant


Don Sainte-Johnn (AKA: Wilber Johnson), grew up in Monroeville, Alabama, and began his radio career at Rock 95 in San Diego, while in college.

He attended Los Angeles City College, CA State University at Long Beach, San Francisco State University, and CA State University, Fullerton.

Sainte-Johnn worked at KYUM in Yuma, KWK in St. Louis, WGRT and WJPC in Chicago, KFRC in San Francisco, and KHYL in Sacramento.

In 2010, he was inducted into the San Francisco Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame, atter a 20-year career with KFRC-AM/FM in San Francisco (Program Director KFRC-FM).

Sainte-Johnn is a professor at American River College, Sacramento.

He was the Winning Applicant for a new KMEN-FM in Mendota, CA (Fresno).

Sainte-Johnn created the industry’s first Show Prep LINQ (App).

He is listed in Who’s Who Among African Americans.

Throughout his career, Sainte-Johnn has held numerous positions including program director, program manager, music director, chief announcer, production director, acting chief engineer, and acting general manager at KWK St. Louis. S
