From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Music has grown tremendously, artists especially the upcoming ones are still faced with many like it cost N$1500 just to produce one song and to produce an album it will cost a fortune. As an artist you need to realise you have to pay whatever to bring out a good product on the market, like of quality can kill ones music career.Well, another problem to see as a great concern in the industry at the moment is piracy. Also in the exploitation of artists in term of performance also be as well as the distribution of our product is also big problems. Some artist has only music as their source of income but many people including the fans for that matter are busy with piracy. This makes it difficult for an artist to produce his/her next album. For this matter people should stop piracy.Artist are also not really open to work as one, cooperation is simply not there, the reasons why other African music industries are dominating Africa is because artists in those countries have put aside the beef against each other and put music first. They start working together as on Namibian artists we will be unstoppable because talent is there and they, just need to use it productively.--DoroteaN 212017551 (talk) 16:55, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[1] [2] [3] [4]
