Prof. Dr. Appalayya Meesala,(Telugu: ప్రొఫెసర్ (డాక్టర్) అప్పలయ్య మీసాల) holds an MBA(Andhra University) and a Ph.D.(Srikrishnadevaraya University). He had worked in silk and hand loom industry for 20 years before he crossed over to teaching six and half years ago. He served as Professor and Head of the Department at Deccan School of Management, Hyderabad. He is currently Director, Guru Nanak Institute of PG Studies-MBA, Ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy District, Andhra Pradesh[1][2].

HIS WORKS

He co-authored a book titled 'Vijaya Patham' ( విజయ పథం ) ( The path to success) with Prof. Murru Mutyalu Naidu, which has been published by Emesco Books (www.emescobooks.com)in February, 2008 [3]. He writes articles in Ezine articles and thefreelibrary.

His articles appeared in the online web library' too. His name figures in Trip Atlastoo. His views on teaching profession are published in Whohub.

His articles appeared in The Hindu, Eenadu and Andhra Jyothi on the issues related to hand loom industry and management.

His new technique, Nibble-Reflect Method, to learn difficult quantitative methods, has been received well by the student community.

He writes his views and experiences on the current governance to which he is often a victim on his blog pages, Sloppy Governance in India: A Victim's Account.
