Pedro Tavarez DaCosta, holds a Doctorate of Education from Nova Southeastern University (2009), USA. He has been an English teacher at the Plan Reforma High School in Puerto Plata. Promoted to English Area Supervisor, Regional Education 11-02 of that city. Also in several of the local university campuses, (UFHEC, PUCMM, UTESA, O&M.)

He is currently a Teacher and Researcher (Associate Professor) at the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo-UASD- School of Languages, for both Undergraduate and graduate Programs and also, a Thesis Advisor and Program Coordinator.

He has carried out Research Projects submitted to the Ministry of Higher Education- MESCYT- and Publications in the International Indexed Portals, ERIC and RESEARCH GATE.

Dr. Tavarez is also a Lawyer and Judicial Interpreter, member of the Bar Association (CARD) and TESOL INTL., Inc. He holds the 6t0 Black Belt. Dan of the International Tae kwon-Do Federation, based in Pyongyang. North Korea.
