Carol Margaret Stansfield Smith FRGS is a New Zealand academic, and is an associate professor at Lincoln University, specialising in .

[edit]Smith completed a PhD titled Assessment of critical loads of acidity for selected U.K. upland organic soils at the University of Aberdeen.[1] Smith then joined the faculty of the University of , rising to full professor in YEAR.
